“Leaving the tremendous potential of women underexploited is a cost that Europe cannot afford in times of economic crisis,” Vice-President of the European Commission, Viviane Reding, Commmissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, stated at the opening of the ETF conference on “Women and Work” on 8 March in Turin. The conference gathering 120 participants from 40 countries marked the International Women’s Day
